Practical? Wedding?
If you’re engaged (ok, maybe even if you’re not) and you’re under 40, you’ve probably set up an account with the wedding website The Knot. Then I bet it promptly told you (!) you have 18+ overdue “tasks.”
During one of my more stressed out moments, I emailed this entire to-do list to my Dad, who kindly told me that the entire wedding industry survives by making me think that my wedding is a really. big. deal. (thanks dad)
But, thanks to awesome Ali, I have found a wedding blog that does not stress me out.
I’ll be honest. That “inspiration board” down there? I gathered up those pictures months ago. There even might be a secret wedding notebook that is NOT new.
But then there is this other, really practical side of me, that can’t believe the average wedding in the U.S. costs nearly $30,000!
So if you’re engaged, go catch up on A Practical Wedding for a little reality check and a good laugh. Oh who am I kidding, you don’t have to be engaged to enjoy reading wedding blogs!

Uh…the Knot sounds like the devil. The Devil Knot. They didn’t even give you a CHANCE to KNOW about those tasks that are overdue! Slightly creepy…
But your dad sounds like a good, good, dad. :)
