snap

October 13th, 2008 · 1 Comment

I took a ton of printmaking classes in school, but I haven’t done a whole lot of printing as of late. Well, OK, I did bang out few hang tags recently. But I swear printmaking is in the air. First, it was a bunch of local printmaking events going on that reminded me of my old teacher Endi Poskovic. Then, I randomly met a brand new printmaking teacher from my alma mater at a friend’s blues gig, and now I’ve stumbled across Snap – a printmaking collaborative in the UK. All in one week.

Here’s what Snap has to say about itself:

Snap is a group of print-centric artists who exist in a symbiotic, cooperative relationship that enhances their own creative practices while boosting their combined public profile through the growth and promotion of Snap facilities, activities and network of creative practitioners.”
