windhover 2008

October 7th, 2008 · 3 Comments

Remember way back when I said I was going to get a copy of the newest N.C. State University’s Windhover? Well, I finally did (thanks Nicole!) and here are a few spreads from the publication. Windhover is N.C. State University’s literary and arts magazine, designed and edited by students.  (If you aren’t familiar with N.C. State, check out the design school’s website). You can see a few spreads from Windhover 2006 here.

Drawings on the bottom left by Emily Millette, creature by Selwyn Sherrill, and photo on the right by Chris Owens

Drawing on the left by Lindsey Bradsher and art on the right by Ariana Farquharson

Top collage by Stephanie Statham Witchger, and photo on the bottom by Critter. (Fashion for the photo by Liz Morrison).

Need more? I’ve started a mint flickr account, where I put the ‘extras’ when I take photos myself. So if you want to see a couple more spreads and bigger photos, you can visit here!

[One more note - I couldn't find websites for a lot of the design students. So, if your name is mentioned here and you have a site or a blog, please email me and I'll add your link.]

  1. I’m glad you enjoyed it!

    critter’s website is crittervision.com
but I think the other people probably don’t have websites.

  2. So creative and inspirational. Thank you for sharing!
