cat’s out of the bag!

vintage feathers

I admit it, when I first found this link I kind of wanted to keep it to myself. The Walters family ebay shop Vintage Feathers and More is so much fun that I want to buy one of everything. I limited myself to two items (wait – now three) which I’ll try to turn into some kind of wedding hair accessory, but maybe down the road I can buy a bunch of things to play with. Oh, the possibilities! Don’t you just want to open up a little etsy shop where you sell cute things made with French millinery feathers from the early 1900s?! Yeah!

  1. Ellie, thank you very much for your kind words (and directing us to your blog). We’re honored that you would choose some of our trims to be possibly included in your wedding.

The vintage trims have been an interesting side business for us.

We found them in a huge, old barn where we rescued them from a horrible, moldering doom!

  2. oooooh. i know, don’t you kind of want to keep your best finds all to yourself? but that would be very communal, would it? we sacrifice, don’t we?

  3. Wow, these are amazing! Now, what can I make…

  4. Those are gorgeous. I’m hitting up their shop right now.

  13. Oh, wow. I’ve been attempting to make my own headbands lately, so I find this sort of thing very inspiring. As well as something to aspire to, of course!
