Mint

I don’t usually “wrap up” the week on Mint, but this week I thought a few reminders and thank yous were in order. First off, don’t forget to enter the giveaway by Sunday night! Lots of good prizes and you don’t want to miss out! Secondly, if you haven’t already, please take my reader survey by Wednesday so that I can learn a little bit more about who you are and what you like.

And now for the thanks… I am so thankful to the artists and designers who donated their goods for Mint’s first giveaway! What a treat. I’m also REALLY thankful to those of you who have completed the survey. I wasn’t expecting so many touching responses. Not to mention the gobs of great post ideas, which I promise I will be using. Once the survey closes I’ll share some of your suggestions and comments.

So much to love from essimar between her blog, etsy, and flickr that it’s a little overwhelming. I want to soak in her sense of color and go home to draw.

We’re having an indian summer right now in North Carolina; the other day it was in the mid seventies. And I’m craving summer like you wouldn’t believe. Biking to the farmers market. Flip flops, tank tops, and dresses. Cold drinks. Reading on the porch. Grilled dinners. Walking to work. You too?

You may remember me mentioning Harry Taylor before – he’s a wonderful photographer from my native Wilmington, NC, and he’s also the photographer my fiance and I chose for our wedding this Spring. Although Harry is based in NC, he can travel anywhere and specializes in documentary style photography. (He also does holgas, tintypes, and other fun stuff like that).
