cutomizing cheap roman shades

March 19th, 2009 · 6 Comments

Last week I mentioned that I’m about to move into a new house, and ever since we signed the lease I’ve had my eyes peeled for ways we might spruce things up without breaking our non-existent budget. I’m a big fan of taking inexpensive, pre-made items and customizing them (you might remember my scrap-pile-embellished Target curtains from a while back).

Apartment Therapy has the same idea – with step by step instructions on how to turn an inexpensive roman shade from Target into something more unique and totally un-Target like.

This one’s going in the new-house files!

  5. I LOVE your blog. You’re now on my “Crafty Inspirations” list. Thank you for posting “down-to-earth” stuff like this, and not just “out-of-reach” design (which is good & also inspirational, but stuff like this is awesome and doable). You have a cute spunk about you, LOVE your blog! (And I plan to give you a shout out ;).
