gender-neutral bedrooms
Post wedding, I’m eagerly anticipating getting rid of the “boxes everywhere” look and going for something a little more put together. The $20 sagging Target bookshelves are out, as are our desk-turned dining room table and seen-better-days futon.
Although we haven’t hung pictures yet (naked walls, sad), we did manage to finally clear the bedroom of boxes. Now at least one room in our house is looking good. Here are some gender-neutral bedrooms from Casa Sugar that might give us some inspiration down the road.
thanks ali!

I think when you’re living with a man, you must go gender neutral, it’s only fair!

April 16, 2009 at 11:58 amThese are really good! I had to figure out the same thing when we bought our house! This is a really fun site that I got some stuff for our naked walls. http://whatisblik.com/savannah/ And in our bedroom I kept it neutral and used one of those wall murals so much fun. http://muralsuperstore.com/ BEST prices. Maybe you can find some things! Have fun.

April 16, 2009 at 3:03 pmCongrats on your wedding!!! I hope it and your honeymoon are wonderful!
How great is that canopy bed??? I would LOVE to have one, but alas… the ceiling fan is kind of in the way because we have lower ceilings. Oh, and the ceiling fan is non-negotiable as we live in Texas.
Maybe in the next house – that has higher ceilings!
