our wedding: the reception, part two

May 29th, 2009 · 6 Comments

We’ve come to the end of the evening!

We ate cake…

We danced to motown and funk…

we took a few more photos outside…

and then it was time to go…

And we slept for about a week!

Thanks for reading Mint, and for all your nice comments and emails about our wedding! Harry Taylor took all these photos, and he would be great for your wedding, too : )

Tomorrow I’ll have one final wedding recap post (I’m excited about that one!), and then normal, mostly non-wedding posting will resume on Monday. Assuming I remember how… haha.

  3. Thumbs up to Motown and funk!! Absolutely!

  4. My grandfather always put up luminarias, and we’d always go to a nearby neighborhood on Christmas Eve and drive around in the snow, looking at the endless rows of flickering opaque lights. He’s been gone over five years, but I think having these at my (eventual) wedding would be a much more meaningful remembrance of him than flowers…

  5. those paper lanterns really great! love from nottingham

  6. thank you! and bridget, that would be a lovely way to remember your grandfather!
