i want to dress like…

Apparently (coworkers) not everyone is a Zooey Deschanel fan. Whatever. I thought she was adorable in 500 Days of Summer, and I’m really jealous of her vintage-inspired wardrobe. I couldn’t find a ton of photos online, but go see the move—and then read this interview with costume designer Hope Hanafin about where they shopped for Zooey’s clothes & why most of them were blue.

thats alll i could think during the whole movie is that I want to dress just like her!!! I might even grow my hair out. Shes beyond adorable and so appeals to the vintage, anthro, indie lovers such as ourselves!
Also every movie I have ever seen her in her clothes are adorable. You must check out All the Real Girls if you have never seen it. :o)

I don’t know who’s not a fan of Zooey, but I sure am! I don’t remember what was the first movie I’ve seen her in, but I loved her from the start! And you’re right, her clothing in this movie are to die for!!

I love her wardrobe in that movie, and also her real life wardrobe! That movie is on my must-see list, but I probably won’t get to see it until it comes out on DVD. She’s a fabulous actress, I don’t understand how people can’t love her.

I adore Zooey! I don’t think I’ve ever seen her in an outfit I didn’t like. It’s refreshing seeing someone wearing clothes that have a more timeless appeal to them! Can’t wait to see the movie!

Hope, What a great joy to see your name in the opening credits for 500 DAYS. Zooey reminds me of you in style, appearance and charm. I could see Hope in every part of the costume design for this movie. Kudos.
