I just ran across Scott Scoggin and Jacqui Savisky’s design shop Slide Sideways. They do some graphic work like logos, etc. but they also have a great etsy shop & blog. Check ‘em out!

Eduardo Recife, a big favorite, has added a new (free!) vector illustration download and a couple new photoshop brushes for your enjoyment.

Anyone else have a long-standing love for drawer knobs? (But never bought a single one?) These are my favorites from Anthropologie. I’m not sure how anyone can commit to just one of them.

I have no idea how I stumbled on the blog Morbid Anatomy. As the name implies, it’s not for the faint of heart, but Joanna Ebenstein’s blog is full of fascinating stuff. Someday I’ll make it to Paris, and visiting the Cabinet of Curiosities of Bonnier de la Mosson will definitely be on my sight-seeing list.

This gorgeous cabinet is located at the Bibliotèque centrale du Muséum national d’Histoire Naturelle and was built in the 18th century. You can read more about it on Morbid Anatomy and see Joanna’s whole set of images on flickr.
