yesterday
I’m not sure how it is, but days are flying by lately. I don’t even feel like I get that much done, but before I know it it’s time for bed! I’m sure my fellow laid-off-ers know that feeling of not really knowing how to manage all the free time? It’s a bit hard to concentrate and get a rhythm going.
Yesterday afternoon I had a Hello Tenfold project to work on. These are Kate’s table numbers, place cards, and programs. I love them! It’s wonderful to love your work so much that it doesn’t feel like work.

September 24, 2009 at 9:33 amI remember what it was like in the early days of being laid off – you’ll find your groove.
These are lovely and it’s great that you’re enjoying yourself!

September 24, 2009 at 3:03 pmDude, I am right there with ya. Being laid off sucks and I also find that the days just fly on by. I’ve just excepted the fact that I finally get a summer after 4 years of working like a dog. BTW, very cute design, I love your stuff.

September 26, 2009 at 2:14 pmAbsolutely love these! I’m a fellow designer – did you happen to print these at home, or at a shop? I’m in the market for a fancy new printer to do some personal projects and was hoping maybe you could point me in the right direction…
Thanks!

September 26, 2009 at 2:24 pmHi Sarah,
I have them printed professionally… and I actually don’t have a home printer. : ( Sorry not to be of more help!

September 27, 2009 at 12:52 amHi Ellie! Love your work & your blog! I just happened to stumble upon it & have learned so much in 2 hours just by reading your posts. I’m also a fellow designer with big dreams of starting a Latino-inspired stationery studio in the middle of good ol’ Oklahoma :) I was curious, what type of papers do you use for your wedding invitations? Do you have a special preference? BTW, do you mind if I add a link of your blog to my blog? Have a nice day :)
