local craft market calendar
If you live in the Triangle area of NC, there are so many craft markets coming up in the next few months! If you’re a designer, there are a couple that you can still apply to.
ROCK & SHOP VINTAGE MARKET: OCT.17 (applications closed)
1-5pm – The Cotton Room at Golden Belt, Durham, $3 // Indoor flea-market with a fashion show and a juried selection of local and national designers selling eco-friendly, repurposed and vintage fashion, jewelry, and furniture. Live music by the bands Lonnie Walker and Mount Weather.
THE HANDMADE MARKET: NOV.7 (applications closed)
11-5pm – Marbles Kids Museum, Raleigh // Hip, handcrafted goods from more than 50 of the best and brightest artists, independent designers and crafters from NC and beyond.
TROIKA ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS: NOV.7 (applications open)
12-4pm – the Trotter Building (one block north of the scrap exchange), Durham // New to the Troika Music Festival this year, Rock, Paper, Scissors is a live music show featuring a unique market of art and handmade wares from local artists and crafters, merchandise from Troika bands, and select offerings from some of Durham’s favorite businesses. Live music by Three Days in Vegas, Tin Star, and Mt. Moriah.
ROCK & SHOP MARKET: DEC. 19 (applications open)
1-5pm – All Saints Chapel, Raleigh, $3 // A curated selection of up-and-coming local and national designers selling handmade, modern goods: hand-sewn fashions, silk-screened apparel & pillows, soap, belt buckles, jewelry and more. Live music by Schooner and Starmount.
