wreath-making
I love buying frasier fir wreaths and adding berries etc., but this year I might go the full DIY route. I found a few good tutorials, and lots of inspiration. (above, Martha Stewart wreaths & tutorials).
Wild-looking wreath via Ali Edwards.
Quick and modern wreaths with tutorial via Design Sponge.
Wreath inspiration and tutorial by Martha Stewart.
Berry wreath tutorial via Country Living and succulent wreath via A Storybook Life.

December 4, 2009 at 10:24 amI really need to make a wreath. I’m so sick of the one we have hanging in our entry, but I never take the time to fix it. I think that putting a wreath together would be a nice way to work with my hands and get in the holiday spirit.

December 4, 2009 at 2:59 pmGrowing up I did this every year-I’d go through our property cutting fir boughs, Oregon grape, and holly and make them into a wreath for our front door. It’s really pretty easy, I was in middle and high school when I did this, as long as you have flexible wire and good pruning shears to work with.
