I love buying frasier fir wreaths and adding berries etc., but this year I might go the full DIY route. I found a few good tutorials, and lots of inspiration. (above, Martha Stewart wreaths & tutorials).

  1. I really need to make a wreath. I’m so sick of the one we have hanging in our entry, but I never take the time to fix it. I think that putting a wreath together would be a nice way to work with my hands and get in the holiday spirit.

  2. Lovely wreaths! I was looking for some inspiration so as to make one myself, thanks for posting!

  3. I want to make one too!!

  4. These are all so pretty and different – love the creativity you amassed here!

  5. Growing up I did this every year-I’d go through our property cutting fir boughs, Oregon grape, and holly and make them into a wreath for our front door. It’s really pretty easy, I was in middle and high school when I did this, as long as you have flexible wire and good pruning shears to work with.

  6. good to know, jamie!
