reading your blog was like the last straw…I had been thinking about starting a blog as I start my new venture of freelance design and crafty homeware designs. So thank you for sharing this encouraging post as well as your commitment to an outstanding blog!

Great article. I have just started a design blog. I have been blogging for a couple of years. My first one was about my experiences of moving to Asia. I stopped this one as I felt I was being too self indulgent. My second blog arose because I was frustrated and underused at work and wanted to share my PR skills. I left my job last October and out of pure boredom I started drawing again – everyone said that they would buy my stuff so I returned to blogging again but this time under the guise of Queenie Bee. And I love it. In fact I think I’m obsessed! And I can totally relate to having lots of tabs open!!!

Something that I prefer about blogs to paper magazines is that I’ve contacted bloggers with questions or comments, and they’ve responded! I’m new to mint, and at 27 preparing to go back to school for graphic design. Blogs are a huge point of inspiration; they’ve really shown me what some talent and ingenuity can accomplish.

I’m just so glad I am not the only one with multiple firefox windows opened with multiple tabs! {although my big “oh no” moment is when I shut them down in the wrong order and lose my original and everyday session!}
