links for your weekend
+ On Valentine’s Day, my husband and I found a new (old) dining room table. Rather, it found us… we certainly weren’t intending to buy any furniture. But sometimes a deal’s just too good to pass up!
+ Congratulations to Courtney on the pre-launch of Seamless Paperie, a wedding & events stationery shop. It’s going to be great!
+ LOCALS: It’s third Friday in Durham! Lotsa art. The Dynamite Brothers are playing at the Pinhook Saturday night. They’re good. The NC Comedy Arts Festival continues this weekend, and it’s the last weekend to see Warhol’s polaroids. If you’d like to have a booth at Raleigh’s Handmade Market, apply by Feb.26.
+ this is the last weekend to enter the 2010 Reader Survey & giveaway! I would love to give some customized calling cards to you or a friend, and would love to hear what you like/what needs improvement on Mint! Margot & I would also love to hear your thoughts/opinions on our Howdy Do It series, so if you would please take our Howdy Do It survey. So far we have a pretty low number of responses on that one, and we really want your input! Thanks to those of you who have already done these things!
+ In the reader survey, some of you mentioned an interest in what books I’m reading. I’ve added a section to the left sidebar, which will switch out whenever I start a new book. I love to read and would love to hear your comments and suggestions. Just click on the book image in the sidebar to get to the “currently reading” page.
+ My favorite kind of fashion inspiration is the kind that doesn’t inspire me to buy new clothing necessarily, but to rethink what I’ve already got. So I’m feeling very inspired after these great posts by Happy Cavalier and Darling Dexter.
