Mint

This press kit by Treat and Company is so smart and pretty. I made the mistake of giving T&C my PO box, and the mail clerk wasn’t exactly gentle with it. I tried to photograph it without all the folds, but if you see a few… that’s my bad.

The outside folder is maybe 12×18″, and it arrived in a clear plastic mailer. On the front is the logo. Don’t you love the gold octopus?

On the inside: a letter, notepad, and 3 different wrapping papers. The outer folder turns into a calendar. I love how every bit of their press kit can be put to use. As someone who hadn’t seen many press kits before starting Mint, I thought you guys might enjoy seeing this. I’m always intrigued by self-promo work, aren’t you?

My mailbox has been overflowing with pretty things lately. So, I thought I’d share a few things here. A mini series, if you will! This package from Paper & Type was a gift when I became Victoria’s 500th twitter follower. Wasn’t that sweet? I couldn’t even fit it all in the photo, but there is lots more to see in her shop. I never win giveaways, so this was pretty exciting.

When I think of quiche I can’t help but think of my Mom! This would be a nice, homey meal to make (and easy, which you must know by now gets serious points in my book). Plus you’d get some veggies in there… it’s like an all-in-one dish. You can see the full recipe and more photos on Kitchenist.

I have a fibers book called Fiberarts Design Book 7 which I flip though occasionally, and even though I’ve had it for years, something new catches my eye each time I pick it up. These are works by Martha Donovan Opdahl, an artist who works with wool (below) and organdy on plexi glass (above) out of her Santa Fe studio.
