in the hello tenfold studio: mary beth and dan’s invitations
Mary Beth, Dan, and I have been working hard to finish up their wedding stationery! Soon we’ll have programs, table numbers, escort cards, and lots more back from the printer’s in time for their June wedding (you can see their save the dates here and in the last photo, below). But last week, Whitney Deal took these photos of Mary Beth and Dan’s wedding invitations, and they’re too fun not to share… patience was never my strong suit, anyway.
Like their save the dates, the invitations were screen printed. We chose kraft, apple green, white, and newsprint papers to add color and texture to their mostly type-driven cards. We also added a few simple illustrations to the mix.
Above, the invitation next to their accordian-fold, story book save the date.

June 3, 2011 at 2:10 amOh wow! They look great! And also… very cool to see that the wedding is taking place locally (for me in Northeast Ohio). Not that I would crash it or anything… ;) Beautiful job.

June 5, 2011 at 4:37 pmVery original, I love them! I wonder if the decoration at the wedding itself will match the invitations – if so, I am a big fan, this shade of green is my favorite color. Lovely indeed.

June 5, 2011 at 8:33 pmLove the colors and the design. It’s so great to see really creative modern looking wedding invitations and not the usual tissue paper and cursive.
