Another favorite from ICFF (not included in my round-up last week while I waited for photos) was the new collection from Volk. Volk’s furniture incorporates re-purposed vintage items with inlaid brass following the patterns formed by pinhole knots in the solid walnut body of their furniture. The drawers were lined with shirting fabric, the chair upholstered with Harris Tweed. Aren’t those mid-century inspired brass V-shaped pulls amazing?
