My new studio is coming right along… I have a few odds and ends to take care of, but for the most part I’m all settled. What a difference the window makes! I swear the days go by faster, and the stand-up desk my Dad and I made (DIY details coming tomorrow!) is much easier on my back.
Love it. I definitely will be investing (aka building) a stand-up desk sooner than later. Sitting all day is one of the worst things we do to ourselves.

SO great! Where do you find those thin “wall gutters” to hold the stationary? I want to display some of my prized books this way, but can’t find anything large enough but not too prominent!

Beth, Those are actually shelves that my husband made for me, they’re made of wood and have a little lip to hold the stationery up. I suppose you could get the same effect without the woodworking tools/know-how by just gluing a strip of wood onto the end of a narrow set of wall shelves (you’d need some clamps, too).
