In the Kitchen: Naturally Ella
Erin, of Naturally Ella, was one of my first real life blog friends. She makes cooking straight from the earth drool-worthy. I’m quite obsessed with her Sweet Potato Tacos that I posted here awhile ago. They are a weekly staple in this household. I’m waiting for the day when Erin opens up her first restaurant. If it tastes anything like the recipes that come out of her blog, the line will be out the door.

What is your best memory in the kitchen (current or past)?
I tend to be a loner in the kitchen, I love the time by myself. Every time I turn on the record player, pour a glass of wine, and cook dinner, I’m creating wonderful new memories.
Whats the best thing about your kitchen?
Light! The house I’m renting is super small but before I moved in, the owners remodeled and turned the old dining room in to the kitchen. I have wonderful bay windows all along one side!
What is your favorite meal to prepare?
I think for those who read my blog, it might come as no surprise that I love to make tacos from scratch. I love every part from making the dough, pressing out the shells, coming up with different fillings, and of course eating the tacos!
What does your dream kitchen look like?
I’ve always dreamed of having a kitchen that would have huge doors on one side so that during the warmer months the patio could be an extension of the kitchen. Other than that—big! I love parties where everyone congregates in the kitchen—it seems so natural!
What 3 guests would you like to have around your dinner table?
Ever since my mother started digging into our genealogy, I’ve become fascinated with the women in my family. I’d love to be able to sit down and have a meal with my grandmother, great-grandmother, and mother.
