Look For Less: Simple Colorblocking

simple look for less-01

I am the type of person that is always on the look out for a good deal. But well-made, staple pieces are one thing that I’m willing to splurge on. When you know that the piece will still be in style and still look great (fits well, not falling apart, etc.) three years down the road, why not spend a bit more than you would at Target or Forever21? J.Crew Factory is my favorite place to go for items like this! J.Crew quality for a fraction of the price. J.Crew-skirt-for-$595 meet my new best friend, J.Crew-Factory-skirt-for-$49.50.

P.S. This “trendy” colorblocking look is made up of some great staple pieces that will still be in style a few years down the road. Choose pieces that can facilitate your favorite trends, while keeping your closet stocked during future seasons and styles.

The Look: J.Crew ($951) / For Less: Chunky Sweater ($24.99), Staple Skirt ($49.50), Nude Wedges ($19.99)

I totally agree on buying a more quality garment that is still way under budget that will be a staple item. That skirt is timeless and can be worn multiple times with multiple outfits! I luckily have a J Crew Factory store near me and I might have to go pick it up later! =)
