3 DIYs to try

When Fall comes around I always feel like it’s a fresh start. Time to hunker down, do projects that I was too busy to start in the summertime, make the house feel cozy. These three DIYs are on my project wishlist.

I had my eye on these yellow baskets from West Elm as a laundry basket in Juna’s room. The DIY version would be much cheaper and looks like fun, too. I’ve found some inexpensive baskets at HomeGoods and TJ Maxx that would be perfect for this project.

We need a couple nightstands for our guest room, and the hardest part about these DIY tables is the staining — the legs were purchased online and Home Depot can cut down the wood if you don’t have a saw. Can’t go wrong at $80 in materials for the pair.

Lastly, start with inexpensive mini blinds to make these no-sew roman shades. Perfect for our sun room! Another example of this project right here.
