from birdseed to rice (update)

March 17th, 2009 · 2 Comments

Mint reader Weylin asked if I wouldn’t mind making a simliar template to the birdseed bags, but for rice – so I’ve made one and it’s now available for download on the previous post. This one reads, “Rice is tossed at a bride and groom to wish them good luck & abundance… and we could use both! So, toss to your heart’s delight!”

[A big thanks to Vané at Brooklyn Bride for featuring this project on her site!!]

Oh I am so excited about this! Since birdseed can destroy grass, I am planning on using rice . . . and I loved this design . . . so this is just perfect!! Love it.

hi pdx – i’m so glad! i’ve never heard that about birdseed killing grass… i couldn’t find anything like that when i googled it – i wonder if this is another myth like the birds and rice myth?
