Excuse my crappy iphone shot, but isn’t that floor beautiful? I found these stenciled limestone tiles in the September ‘10 issue of House & Garden Magazine, and they were designed by Neisha Crosland for De Ferranti.

Has anyone ever tried stenciling floor tiles before? A DIY project? My interest is piqued…

Have you seen these photos by Huang Qingjun? Similar to a concept started by Peter Menzel in the 90s (in Material World: A Global Family Portrait), Qingjun and Ma Hongjie photographed Chinese families in front of their living spaces with all of their possessions displayed outside. Makes you want to have big yard sale, right? I have too. much. stuff.

I love the patterns in these new wallpapers by designer Sandra Isaksson! They have a wipeable surface and will be available soon for £35 per roll on isak.
