sponsor: SMALLable

November 16th, 2011 · 2 Comments

One of Mint’s much-loved sponsors is SMALLable, a fashion and design concept store for kids ages 0-12 years old. Their collection is beautiful, imaginative, and high-quality, respectful of the environment and grounded in practicality. Shown here is a small selection of my favorites. There’s so much more in their gorgeous Christmas magazine, and of course, in the shop.

Thanks SMALLable! Sponsors help make Mint possible, and I am so grateful for their support. If you’re interested in advertising on Mint, please get in touch by emailing ellie at mintdesignblog dot com, and I’ll be happy to give you all the details (including some holiday specials!).

blues & orangey-pinks

August 22nd, 2011 · 3 Comments

A pretty color combo to start the week! The silk tee is by Rachel Rose, who hand paints or hand dyes silk for tops and dresses. (More on her blog). The limited edition print is by Inaluxe, a talented Australian duo. The clutch is hand-sewn and hand-printed by Sveika, a Philadelphia-based textile design and screen-printing company. Lastly, that sweet paper fox puppet… that’s by Furze Chan, an artist and designer from Hong Kong.
