Little Crochet Halloween GhostAmigurumi

Today we're going to make this super cute little ghost. Perfect for Halloween or just as a fun decoration. Grab your yarn and hook, and crochet along with me.

Quick Overview Of Pattern

  • Crocheted in the round from top to bottom with simple body shaping.
  • Uses basic single crochet increases and seamless construction.
  • Tiny hands are created using a mix of slip stitch, chain, and double crochet.
  • Finished with a cute wavy base and easy-to-attach eyes and cheek blush.

Notes

  • Mark the first stitch of every round with a stitch marker for accuracy.
  • Crochet is continuous rounds—do not join rounds or turn.
  • The hands are created as you crochet the body; follow instructions for working into these “hand” stitches.
  • You can adjust the amount of stuffing for a firmer or softer ghost.
  • Hide yarn tails inside the body for a neat finish.Crochet Ghost Beginner-Friendly Halloween Amigurumi & Keychain Tutorial 7

Skill Level

  • Beginner/Advanced Beginner: Great for crocheters comfortable with working in the round and following simple increase and decrease patterns.

Materials

  • Yarn: White, Medium/Fine
  • 2.5 mm crochet hook
  • Small amount of stuffing/polyfill
  • Stitch marker
  • Scissors
  • Yarn needle
  • 2 safety eyes or decorative eyes
  • Hot glue gun (to attach eyes)
  • Blush powder or soft pink eyeshadow (for cheeks)

Measurements / Sizing

  • Finished ghost is approximately 3”–3.5” (8–9 cm) tall (exact size will vary based on yarn and tension).

Gauge

  • Gauge is not critical; use a small hook so stitches are dense enough that stuffing doesn’t show.

Stitch Abbreviations

  • ch = chain
  • sc = single crochet
  • inc = increase (2 sc in one stitch)
  • sl st = slip stitch
  • dc = double crochet
  • st(s) = stitch(es)

Special Stitches

Magic Ring:
Wrap yarn into a loop, hold with your fingers, insert hook, pull up a loop, ch 1 (does not count as a stitch), then begin crocheting into ring.

Invisible Increase:
Work 2 sc into one stitch.

Slip Stitch + Ch 2 + Dc + Ch 2 + Sl St (Hand):
All worked into a single stitch to create a tiny "hand" loop. Follow stitch-by-stitch for shaping.
