holiday inspiration
I’m already planning holiday gifts this year, since I’m hoping to go the handmade route (as in, handmade by me) as much as I can.
Wait, don’t I intend to do that every year?
These ornament collages from Essimar have the wheels turning…
UPDATE: You can purchase these ornaments from the Essimar shop! And to be clear, I’m not suggesting anyone replicate Essimar’s copyrighted work : )

November 10, 2009 at 4:36 pmI’m doing the Freshly Blended ornament swap again this year and have been brainstorming what to make. I love this ornament! Thanks for sharing, esp since this will likely serve as a flavor of inspiration for what I finally do create.

November 10, 2009 at 6:38 pmThis would be super easy to layer all the paper and then use your CM (creative memories for you non-scrapbooking people) circle trimmer to cut out. I’m totally making these!
You could also turn them into cards!

November 11, 2009 at 10:10 amThere’s nothing better than a handmade gift for the Holidays. Whether it’s handmade by you or by another artisan, it makes everyone feel special!

November 11, 2009 at 12:27 pmI’m doing mostly handmade gifts this year too. It’s very inspiring to see others going this route as well. To me, a handmade gift is always a bit more special than something that came from a store.

November 11, 2009 at 8:53 pmI had a handmade christmas last year and it ruled! I mean I started in October and I had to manage around a school and work schedule, but I got it all done in time and people said they really enjoyed it! I’m totally doing it again this year and actually just started.
