happy heart day valentine
We’ve got two Valentine’s Day DIY projects for today! This first one is by Karly A. Young of SweetBeaker. Karly designs beautiful custom invitations, business cards, logos, you name it… and has a great etsy shop, too.

Hello, mint readers! I’m Karly A. Young of SweetBeaker, a hand-crafted paper goods + design shoppe.
Nothing is better than a little hand-crafted holiday goodness! So, without further ado, I’d like to share a Valentine DIY that’s easily doable with supplies most of you (eek – I hope!) already have around the house!
SUPPLY ROUNDUP
heavy weight card stock
rotary cutter (or 3” circle punch)
x-acto knife
ribbon, twine or twill tape
cutting mat
5×7 open-ended glassine envelope
printable PDF(s)
ENVELOPE
You want your envelope to measure (roughly) 5” wide by 5.25” tall. Using a rotary cutter and ruler, slice about an inch and three quarters off the top, open-ended portion of your envelope.
I used a rotary cutter with a pinking blade. A scallop edge would look lovely too!
