Hello, mint readers! I’m Karly A. Young of SweetBeaker, a hand-crafted paper goods + design shoppe.
Nothing is better than a little hand-crafted holiday goodness! So, without further ado, I’d like to share a Valentine DIY that’s easily doable with supplies most of you (eek – I hope!) already have around the house!
SUPPLY ROUNDUP
heavy weight card stock
rotary cutter (or 3” circle punch)
x-acto knife
ribbon, twine or twill tape
cutting mat
5×7 open-ended glassine envelope
printable PDF(s)
ENVELOPE
You want your envelope to measure (roughly) 5” wide by 5.25” tall. Using a rotary cutter and ruler, slice about an inch and three quarters off the top, open-ended portion of your envelope.
I used a rotary cutter with a pinking blade. A scallop edge would look lovely too!
