If you have vertigo, Cubehouse might not be the best place to stay next time you’re in Rotterdam (even looking at the photos makes me a little dizzy). But this one was too good not to share!

According to Wikipedia, “Kubuswoningen, or cube houses, are a set of innovative houses built in Rotterdam and Helmond in The Netherlands, designed by architect Piet Blom and based on the concept of ‘living as an urban roof': high density housing with sufficient space on the ground level. Blom tilted the cube of a conventional house 45 degrees, and rested it upon a hexagon-shaped pylon.”

It’s so fun to read about this! Before I moved to Copenhagen, I lived in Rotterdam for 2 years and passed by these cube house almost every day. Also, thanks for posting such wonderful content here. I think Mint was my first love when I started reading design blogs. You are a true inspiration for me while I write my own blog here in Denmark.
